This spring, we’re presenting a Career Everywhere Conversation three-part series on advocating for career services. We’ll be hearing from career services leaders who have successfully advocated for buy-in from senior leadership, resources and budget, collaboration and sharing through campus partnerships, and expanding services for underrepresented and new student groups. Our goal with this series is to empower career services leaders everywhere with the tools and strategies they need to advocate for the support and resources career services teams need and deserve.
In this, the third session, we’ll be hearing from three experienced career services leaders who have been successful in building or expanding career services for new and underrepresented populations, including adult and online learners, alums, and first generation students.
Our fantastic panelists are Kyle Whitehouse; Assistant Director of Student Services at Oregon State University Ecampus; Daniel Pascoe-Aguilar, Associate Provost for Immersive Learning & Career Design at Drew University; and Sarah Seavey, Director of Professional Development and Training at the University of Miami.
All sessions in this series are free for all higher education professionals to attend. We encourage you register for all three sessions in this series!
